Make bath time magical with Orlando the Octopus. This guide shares creative play ideas and safety tips for this natural rubber teething toy.
Quick answer
Orlando the Octopus turns bath time into a sensory adventure. Use him for teething relief, water play, and gentle massage—all in one safe, no-hole toy.
Why Orlando works for bath time
Orlando the Octopus is made from 100% natural rubber from Hevea trees, so it’s soft, flexible, and free of harmful chemicals. The one-piece design has no holes, which means no mold or mildew hiding inside—a common worry with bath toys.
The different textures on Orlando’s body help stimulate your baby’s senses while they play. Plus, the realistic colors grab attention and encourage reaching, grabbing, and splashing.
Fun ways to play with Orlando the Octopus
- Splash and float game: Place Orlando in the water and let him float. Gently push him to create small waves for your baby to watch. This introduces cause and effect and water movement. Avoid making big splashes that might startle a young baby.
- Teething relief station: Chill Orlando in the refrigerator (not freezer) for 10 minutes before bath. Let your baby chew on his arms—the natural rubber is gentle on sore gums and safe for teething. Always check the temperature on your wrist before giving it to your baby.
- Sensory texture massage: Rub Orlando’s textured body gently on your baby’s arms, legs, and tummy during bath. The varied bumps and ridges provide tactile stimulation and can be calming. Use light pressure and watch your baby’s reaction; stop if they seem uncomfortable.
